We are seeking an experienced  Property Accountant to join our team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of a diverse property portfolio, preparing accurate and timely monthly reports, and contributing to the continued success of our platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly close process for multiple assigned properties
• Prepare and post journal entries, adjustments, and accruals
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash activity
• Track and manage tenant receivables
• Maintain balance sheet tie-outs and supporting schedules
• Process accounts payable, including vendor setup and invoice entry
• Review monthly P&L and perform variance analysis
• Prepare financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with lender and investor reporting requests
• Support year-end audits and additional accounting projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required)
• 2–10 years of real estate accounting experience
• Familiarity with senior living properties is a plus
• Strong proficiency with Yardi (highly preferred)
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
