Bookkeeper/Accountant
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)
⏳ Full-Time | 35-hour Work Week

### What You'll Do:
You'll manage and oversee all financial activities for multiple regional offices and a specialized training program, ensuring smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Manage accounts receivable & payable, deposits, and fund transfers
✔️ Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with employee wages & benefits
✔️ Reconcile bank accounts & credit card transactions
✔️ Prepare and submit quarterly workers' compensation reports
✔️ Generate remittance forms & financial reports
✔️ Assist with the annual audit & LM-2 filing
✔️ Process 1099 forms and ensure tax compliance
✔️ Maintain organized financial records and filing systems

### What We're Looking For:
✅ Strong understanding of fund accounting & bookkeeping (modified cash basis)
✅ Experience with MIP Abila or similar accounting software (Sage, Intacct, NetSuite)
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
✅ Ability to multi-task, organize work efficiently, and meet deadlines
✅ Excellent communication skills with a professional and courteous approach
✅ Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and financial integrity

### Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with ADP Payroll or similar software (Paychex, Ceridian, Gusto)
Experience working with labor unions or nonprofit organizations is a plus
