Marketing and Social Media Coordinator Location Palo Alto, CA (Professorville area) : FAZ Restaurant Group locations have been a sought-after dining experience based on flawless service and a captivating ambiance. We have 3 prime location restaurants covering the San Francisco Bay Area. Public Relations and Marketing Specialist We are seeking a competent and dynamic Public Relations and Marketing Specialist to strategically manage our restaurant group's public image, enhance brand perception, and drive engagement across various communication channels. This role is crucial in promoting our business, values, and mission to our target audience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing PR and marketing strategies , cultivating strong media relationships, and collaborating effectively with internal teams on promotional activities. We are looking for an individual with proven experience in corporate communications, project management, and a strong aptitude for social media management. This role requires excellent client relationship management skills, strong presentation abilities, and a proactive, results-oriented approach. The primary objective is to maintain and elevate positive public awareness of our company and its brand, ensuring consistent messaging and exceptional customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Strategy Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive PR and marketing plans aligned with business objectives. Brand Voice & Presence: Enhance the company's brand voice and presence across diverse online and offline communication channels, including social media platforms. Media Relations: Proactively manage media relationships, respond to media inquiries, and identify opportunities for positive coverage. Content Creation: Draft and edit professional press releases, corporate communications, speeches, and other PR-related copy. Event Management: Plan, organize, and supervise public-facing events, fairs, and conferences to maximize brand visibility and engagement. Promotional Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to support and amplify promotional campaigns and initiatives. Crisis Communication: Develop and execute effective communication strategies in times of PR crisis to protect and maintain brand reputation. Market Insights: Lead and analyze survey initiatives to gauge public opinion and market trends, informing future communication strategies. Social Media Management: Develop and implement engaging social media content strategies, manage community interactions, and analyze performance metrics across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter). Qualifications and Skills Experience: Proven professional experience as a Public Relations Specialist, Marketing Specialist, or in a similar communications role, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Campaign Management: Demonstrated experience in project management and the successful execution of integrated PR and marketing campaigns. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite; familiarity with photo and video-editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a strong asset. Social Media Expertise: Comprehensive understanding and practical experience managing and optimizing content for major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter X, Youtube). Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively. Presentation & Public Speaking: Strong aptitude for delivering compelling presentations and engaging in public speaking. Language: Proficiency in English required; additional languages a plus. Mindset: A creative, strategic, and results-oriented professional with excellent problem-solving abilities. Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
