Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Towanda, Pennsylvania is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
A passionate Superintendent with expertise in agronomy, leadership, and environmental stewardship. Your job will be to ensure our course remains in top condition for players. This is a full-time, year-round position.
Requirements:
An associate’s degree in turf management or similar is preferred.
Assistant superintendents are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of budgeting and expense management.
Three to five years turf grass management experience required.
Supervisory, coaching, and staff development experience required.
Experience in producing excellent playing conditions.
A two-year college degree is preferred but not required.
GCSAA member preferred but not required.
Spray tech certified and irrigation knowledge.
Knowledge of local, federal, and state laws and regulations affecting the management of golf course operations.
Must have a strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business.
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be highly organized and efficient with a high attention to detail.
Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have basic computer skills.
Compensation:
$55,000 – $75,000 per year.
