Job Description

Store Manager Department: Operations Reports to: Executive Manager Salary Range: $150,000 - $300,000 Benefits: Medical and Dental Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability 401k Job Summary: The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations and execution of the company philosophy and annual plan. The Store Manager works closely with global support roles on strategies aligned with the report card business objectives. Core Responsibilities:

  • Handle guest situations that require a higher-level authority or attention than department level management.
  • Provide a great guest experience through a disciplined system (process).
  • Production focused while remaining disciplined with expense structure.
  • Exceed market expectations in new and used vehicle sales.
  • Develop and execute a monthly plan with appropriate strategies (tactics) to achieve report card business objectives. Action Steps should be intentionally aimed at target performance.
  • Report out mid-month to Executive Manager on tracking and at month- end to Executive Manager and Financial Director during report card meeting with other Store Managers.
  • Evaluate in-month trends and make timely adjustments when appropriate.
  • Meet weekly with department managers on progress against report card objectives.
  • Regularly evaluate tool utilization, marketing, and personnel against expected ROI.

  • Grow people. Develop the management skills and leadership abilities of those you support.
  • Collaboration in strategic planning globally to achieve enterprise-level objectives.
  • Be supportive of the manufacturer through understanding their objectives and executing on their key measurements. (SSI, SPSI, share, growth and profitability).
  • Ensure compliance as it relates to privacy, policies we're responsible for following and personal information.
  • Ensure department managers are appropriately staffed to achieve report card objectives.
  • Walk the campus monthly to evaluate what needs attention and maintain clean facilities in good repair.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and Controller on being financially disciplined to achieve net-to-gross business objectives.
  • Support administrative staff through clear expectations and adherence to proper paperwork flow.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry and various car models
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
  • Customer-Focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Combination of sales, customer service, and leadership skills to ensure sales targets are meet with high levels of customer satisfactions
Education and Experience: * Prefer 3+ years' experience in sales, sales management, or fixed operations Universal Responsibilities:
