Sodexo has an opportunity for an Executive Chef 2 - Campus Dining to support our dining operations at Evangel University in Springfield, MO!

The Executive Chef is responsible for dining, retail and catering functions . Our successful candidate will have proven leadership experience, excellent customer service, promote a customer/client centered culture and improve partnerships. Ability to work with and grow a diverse staff, manage a busy catering schedule, and professionalism in client contact is important in this position.

What You'll Do


  • Responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • Knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements


Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
