Job Description

Seeking a Concrete - Curb and Gutter Operator for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Lebanon, TN.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k!

Pay is between $23 - $30 per hour (based on experience)

The Concrete Curb Machine Crew performs job activities related to the pouring of concrete surfaces, such as sidewalks, curb and gutter, pads, etc. The role is best suited for team players with a positive attitude and drive to complete the job.

Responsibilities:

• Read and implement architectural plans and specifications (application rates, grades, slope, drainage, etc.) to ensure the pour is correct and calculate materials needed.
• Create patterns, forms, or foundations according to work order and inspect finished surfaces for needed repairs.
• Set forms, assist with setting string lines, oversee concrete pour, and spread concrete to level.
• Finishing top surfaces with the use of relevant tools and water to arrive at the desired texture.
• Work alongside crew members and assist in all capacities of applications and instruct crew members in a professional manner in order to relay expectations and instill motivation.
• Work with the management team to stay updated on project knowledge and be informed of any changes.
• Respond to internal and external requests and provide high quality support to customers and colleagues.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every contact.
• Follow all safety and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience operating/finishing behind a Curb & Gutter Machine (ex: Power Curber).
• Proficiency with industry tools and equipment.
• Experience finishing/forming concrete.
• Strong analytical ability, quantitative and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
• Confidentiality and trustworthiness.
